Care Guide

Thoughtful care helps preserve your handbag’s material, structure, and finish. Always use a gentle approach and avoid applying a product or treatment unless it is suitable for the specific material.

General Care

• Handle your handbag with clean, dry hands. 
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, humidity, or moisture. 
• Keep the exterior away from oils, makeup, perfume, hand sanitizer, and household cleaners.
• Avoid overfilling, which can strain stitching, closures, handles, and the bag’s silhouette. 
• Take care with denim and dark fabrics, which may transfer color to lighter materials. 
• Avoid placing the handbag on rough, wet, or abrasive surfaces.

Suede Care

Suede has a soft nap that naturally reflects light and may show subtle tonal variation.

• Keep suede away from rain, moisture, oils, and liquid cleaners. 
• Do not use leather conditioner, moisturizer, wipes, or household stain treatments on suede.
• If the surface becomes dusty, use a clean brush specifically intended for suede and work gently in the direction of the nap.
• If suede becomes wet, blot gently with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub, apply heat, or use a hair dryer. Allow it to dry naturally away from direct heat.
• For stains, significant watermarks, or color changes, stop home treatment and consult a professional experienced with suede handbags.
  

Leather Care

For Togo and Saffiano leather:

• Remove light surface dust with a clean, soft, dry microfiber cloth.
• Do not saturate the leather or use alcohol, vinegar, baby wipes, oils, or household cleaners.
• Do not apply conditioner or cleaner unless it is confirmed suitable for the specific leather and finish.
• Before using any care product, test a very small, inconspicuous area and allow it to dry completely.
• Consult a leather-care professional when the finish is unknown or the issue involves staining, discoloration, cracking, or structural damage.

Storage

• Store the handbag in a clean, breathable fabric storage bag or a clean white cotton pillowcase.
• Do not store leather or suede in sealed plastic for extended periods.
• Support the handbag lightly with acid-free tissue or clean, unprinted white paper. Do not overstuff.
• Keep straps and chains positioned so they do not press into or mark the exterior.
• Store the handbag upright in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, radiators, vents, and excessive humidity.
• Do not hang the handbag by its handles for long-term storage.

Hardware Care

• Wipe hardware gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid abrasive polish, chemical cleaners, and excessive rubbing.
• Prevent chains, clasps, and metal components from pressing against leather or suede during storage.

Consult a qualified handbag or leather-care professional for:

• Deep or unknown stains
• Significant water damage
• Mold or persistent odor
• Color loss or dye transfer
• Cracking, stiffness, or structural damage
• Repairs involving stitching, handles, closures, or hardware

Avoid experimenting with viral cleaning methods or household products. An incorrect treatment can permanently alter color, texture, or finish.
